Globe introduces Data Manager on the Globe app, where Globe and TM subscribers can monitor and control their mobile data usage. The telco recognizes that this is what customers need, so they have incorporated this new feature.

The Data Manager feature enables Globe Prepaid and TM users on Android to better understand their data consumption by showing its breakdown. It shows them a list of "Most Used Apps" and allows them to choose which ones can use their data. Customers can then use their data only for the things that are most valuable to them.

Globe chief customer experience officer Beck Eclipse said, "We really care about empowering our customers at a time when uncertainty is so prevalent. Technology enables us to serve their needs through simple yet powerful features that are within their reach."

Customers' hard-earned money for data is essential to Globe, and the telco wants to make sure it is spent wisely. However, in some situations, customers may be unaware that their data is being consumed by background apps that constantly run even when closed, leading to the perception that their data is being consumed despite having no usage. The Globe app's Data Manager menu can prevent this, giving consumers peace of mind that their data will not be wasted but instead maximized.

Eclipse added, "Over the past year, we have seen how connectivity has become increasingly critical. We are committed to continuously enhance our channels to enable customers to stay on top of their Globe account and keep them connected."

Globe and TM subscribers can access Data Manager by downloading the GlobeOne app in Google Play Store. GlobeOne app features tracking of data usage, bills payment, promo subscription, and more.
