 In one of the scenes in the film “One Hundred Rifles” (1969) the rebels take possession of a train run operated by the Federales. To distract the crew and military personnel, Sarita (Raquel Welch) takes a shower under one of the railroad’s water tower. This more than takes the minds of the men on the train off of their duties and enables the rebels and Indians to charge the army and take over the train.

The scene was filmed along the existing railroad line in La Calahorra, Granada. In 2021 Nothing remains of the water tower or the rail line except the road bed.
