Vivo V19 Brief Review
Vivo V19 features 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display, HDR10 support, and 6 AI camera system. It runs on Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10 and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, 8GB RAM and up to 256GB ROM. It packs large battery capacity of 4,500 mAh coupled with 33W FlashCharge 2.0 fast charging. Vivo V19 is a flagship phone announced globally on April 6, 2020, and launched virtually in Philippines via FB Live on June 13, 2020.
The V19 highlights its 6 AI camera system, equipped with 2 front cameras and 4 rear cameras. It has dual punch-hole selfie camera, one being a 32MP standard angle shooter and an 8MP wide. It makes use of camera mode features such as Selfie Softlight which makes a face stand out from the background. The L-shaped rear camera composed of a 48MP main shooter, 8MP wide, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor, which lets users capture all of life's wonders in style, may it be wide angle or close-up shots. Both front and back cameras have Super Night Mode feature for bright shots even in low light condition, and an Ultra Stable video feature for great moving shots. For its display, Vivo V19 was equipped with Super AMOLED display which supports Always On Display at a low power consumption. Its display size is 6.44-inches that gives more space to high definition videos and images, and brings vivid viewing experience due to FHD+ sAMOLED Ultra FullView display with 20:9 aspect ratio. When it comes in design, V19 fits every users' palm very well. Ergonomically-designed 3D curves offer sheer comfort, while premium glass offers stylish sophistication. For security, Vivo is the pioneer when it comes in In-Display Fingerprint Scanning technology so consumers will expect a better and secured unlocking experience. It has also face unlock feature. Vivo V19 was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 octa-core chipset with 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of expandable storage, Funtouch OS UI which is based on Android 10 and a 4500mAh battery bundled with 33W fast charger (USB Type-C). The powerful octa-core Snapdragon 712 chipset delivers an ultra-smooth experience boosting multiple apps and mobile games, which requires low power consumption. Gamers can expect an optimized and smooth gameplay with Multi-Turbo 3.0 (ART++ Turbo, Center Turbo, Game Turbo, Net Turbo and Cooling Turbo) feature that increases FPS stability up to 78.05%. Another main selling point of this Vivo midrange smartphone is its 4,500mAh battery that fast charges at 33W, which is equivalent to 54% charge in just 30 minutes. The Vivo V19 supports 4G LTE networks, but not 5G. Calls and SMS are possible via a dual Nano SIM with dual standby.
The official Philippines price of Vivo V19 is yet to be announced. The official price of Vivo V19 in India is Rs 27,990 for 128GB variant, and Rs 31,990 for 256GB variant.
