Here comes a little story about an even smaller town. We are located inland on the island Brac in Croatia and the twown in question is Nerezisca. In the past, Nerezisca was the capital of the island. Nowadays that's the town of Supetar. But before, Nerezisca as the capital was founded inside the island, not on its coast, because of fear of pirates marauding the Adriatic Sea. Once these pirates were eradicated by the Venetians, the locals started populating the settlements by the sea, especially Supetar and Sutivan, on the coastline. I visited this small town recently with my friends Selma. We had a great time exploring. Yes, it's old and small, but people actually do live here, on top of the small hill you wll fins a church and school, with beautiful stairs leading up to them. I hope you will enjoy our little photo journey.
