During my recent travel to Austria and Slovakia, I also managed to visit a few small towns in Austria. One of them was Krems an der Donau, a quaint and picturesque little town just a one hour drive north from Vienna. This historic city has a rich history of wine production, and also boasts great charm and character with its old architecture and favourable seat on the Danube. Krems an der Donau is located in Lower Austria at the eastern edge of the Wachau Valley, a region so scenic it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Passing through the Steiner Tor you’ll be on Landstrasse, the pedestrian area of town. Beni was with me of course, and he was happy in the little streets and corners. The day was quite hot for autumn, so the shade in the main street was very much needed. I hope you will enjoy these sunny autumn images and I wish you a great start into the new week!
Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week. I hope you will have a great start into the new week!
